When I was a kid, my father brought home our first x86 computer and it changed my life forever. From then on software and human interfaces have persistently fascinated and inspired me.
Believing that smarter software comes from collective effort and experience, I support and embrace the open source community and standardized web movement. With that same ethos, I actively participate in and contribute to the social web.
While consulting at HUGE Inc as a UI/UX engineer, I led an operation to build out a UI framework for GE Capital, which included a distilled set of interface templates, modules and components.
Working with 360i as a UI/UX engineer, I collaborated with several high-end brands on cutting-edge web, mobile and social media applications, as well as their internal rebranding efforts.
I worked with the Kraft team as a UI/UX consultant to build the front-end of several household-brand feature sites. My primary focus was layout design with an emphasis on speed and usability.
With Oscar Mayer, I developed a site focused on a social media campaign launched in 2010. We leveraged several CSS3 & HTML5 features that helped create a bold and responsive interface.
An old friend/client was in the concept phase of an idea for a social healthcare app and wanted get it up and running. I styled and coded this SPA prototype using AngularJS, Sass and Grunt.
Passionate about creating tools that enhance education, I worked with 3rd Learning as a Senior UI engineer. In collaboration with educators, I built software to support classroom teachers.
As a freelancer, I had the opportunity to work with Justin over at Ghost Inspector. I helped implement new features and styling enhancements for this automated website testing platform.
